ACT NOW to Meet Needs of Consumers of Integrative Health in COVID Relief Legislation

Dear Integrative Health Consumers,

As you may know, the President recently signed into a law the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act (P.L. 116-136). While this bill contained many ambitious provisions, it did NOT address many unmet needs of the integrative health care community.

Congress is currently crafting a new coronavirus relief bill that the Speaker of the House of Representatives wants to bring to the House floor when Congress reconvenes on April 20. On April 2, the Integrative Health Policy Consortium (IHPC), which represents the interests of integrative health professionals, sent (IHPC Stimulus #4 letter) to Speaker Pelosi, outlining the community’s top five priorities for the next coronavirus relief bill that the House considers. The National Center for Homeopathy is a member of IHPC

Now is a crucial time for our community to weigh in and urge Congress to include our requests in the next coronavirus relief legislative package. Your voice, as a consumer of integrative health, is essential if we are to impress upon Congress the important role that integrative health care services play in preserving and promoting the health and well-being of the American people.

Please consider sending the action alert below to your Representative in the U.S. House of Representatives.
