FDA Proposed Guidance
Public Comment Deadline Extended
until May 21, 2018!
In December 2017, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced it was introducing new draft guidance for “Drug Products Labeled as Homeopathic” that announces the FDA’s intent to withdraw the Compliance Policy Guide (CPG) 400.400.
NCH has also been working to defend our right to access homeopathy by working collaboratively with the American Association of Homeopathic Pharmacists (AAHP) and the Homeopathy Action Alliance (HAA) member organizations. Since January, 2018, NCH has been pro-active in mounting a strategic response to the FDA Draft Guidance proposal. The FDA should not rescind the CPG 400.400, a guidance that has proven itself effective to both industry and consumers. By developing a strategy and providing you with the information you need to contact your legislators, thousands of comments have been submitted so far! Because of these efforts, the FDA granted an extension until May 21st, 2018 to submit additional comments.
Time is running out to take action with your responses to the FDA. We need individuals like you to push your families, friends and colleagues to contact their legislators and urge them to sign onto one of two (2) letters from Senator Orrin Hatch and Representative Ryan Costello . Getting co-signers for these letters is a key advocacy goal.

Sabra Alden, NCH Member
How long have you been a member of NCH?
7 years.
What made you want to become a member of NCH?
I really believe that homeopathy has a place managing our health throughout our entire lives. I was a student at the Teleosis Homeopathic Collaborative and I felt a need to be connected to this community to constantly learn from others.
As a volunteer of NCH, what was the determining factor to become more involved with the association?
I had come to a personal stage in my life where I was comfortable enough understanding where homeopathy stood in the world. I felt I had a voice as an advocate and wanted to be heard. I think now that our world is changing and its views of health are changing, the more voices out there the better!
Did you go to the JAHC? How was your experience and would you encourage others to attend?
Yes, I’ve been going for years. I get so much out of concentrated time with my peers and like-thinkers. I enjoy talking to people who are more experienced than I am as well as newer homeopathic practitioners to help them evolve!

  • You can change your mind or modify your gift if circumstances change.
  • Your gift can remain anonymous if you choose.
  • Your gift may provide tax savings or help reduce the tax burden for your heirs.
  • You can leave a gift in honor or memory of someone who inspired your love of homeopathy.

From Homeopaths Without Borders (HWB)
There are twelve new homeopaths in Haiti, all graduates of HWB's first  Fundamentals of Homeopathy  course for Haitian medical professionals! And underlying that good news is more good news! The keynote speaker at the graduation ceremony on March 28 was Dr. Jean-Hugues Henrys, president of the  Association Médicale Haitienne  (Haitian Medical Association) and  Membre du Cabinet, Ministère de la Santé Publique et de la Population.   Haitian national television was also on hand to film the event and interview Dr. Joseph Prosper, HWB’s liaison physician.  This support and validation from the conventional medical establishment and the Haitian government is significant. Forming partnerships and involving the entire community has been an unshakable priority for HWB. In Haiti, everyone is beginning to recognize the value of working homeopathically and integratively for the good of all. We encourage you to stay up-to-date with us by checking our website  here  and visiting our  Volunteer page . We're on a roll called "Momentum!"
